News: Robby_H :Why can't you provide any evidence for your assertions? Why was the whole "Dr Candy's GB method" thread deleted from finders forum after this post was cross posted there? Who is running scared? Who really controls finders?

Many times I've heard it said that Pulse induction machines can't see & therefore wont signal on many quartz gold specimens .

If this is the case would it be a wast of time to take someone with one of these units to an area known for only fine lazed gold in quartz ?

Lucky for me I'll be OK with my gear   happy face

A Vlf will generality be far more sensitive to very small  gold and specimens containing fine laced gold ie conductive targets that have very fast decays (under 10 usecs). How fine laced is the gold in the quartz?
Do you have any samples from the area that you want to prospect that you could test with the persons PI? If you want to prospect  outcropping or very shallow reefs then  personally I would use a good  VLF.

Doug agree with your choice on reef prospecting , the gold is very fine , visible like tiny splatter with runs that look like thin wire through the quartz , they make attractive looking specimens.

Can obtain some to test with his PI , but bet it can't see many .
