Doug is right on  climate change! "HappySAD7000user" and "Inhere"  and "Arizona"and the  village idiot 1halfgram4three are wrong! They are  scientifically illiterate, climate denier easy beats!!!! They are terrified of the truth and too spineless to come here and debate the issue!!!
The changing climate is NOT due to natural variation!
The  enormous body of diverse evidence, the physics and the overwhelming majority of climate scientists publishing in  recognized peer reviewed scientific journals agree that the earth is warming due predominately to  rising atmospheric  levels of anthropogenic C02!

Never 10 is an easy to use utility which gives users control over whether their Windows 7 or 8.1 will upgrade itself to Windows 10.

I have had  fun and games today trying to install and get working some new disk imaging software: shadow protect.Problem is that a driver (snapman .sys) installed by another  imaging program conflicts with it and the uninstall program with this software does not remove  it or its reference in the registry.I removed  snapman .sys from the Win/sys 32/ drivers after i removed all the  references to in the registry. This caused BSOD on reboot so had to go back to an earlier registry.Tomorrow i will have to reinstall the offending program and follow the  recommended procedure to edit the registry and then delete or rename the offending driver.Aren't PC's fun at times!!!!

Heaps of problems with WIN 10 most of mine solved by removing and reinstalling affected programs by running the install on each as administrator but not all. Best of luck.  good luck

What programs could you not reinstall? I intend at a later date to update one of my disks and partition it to have xp and win 8.1 and then have a dual boot system after I have installed Paragon Hard Disk Manager 15 Professional. This will take time as the manual for the program is over 300 pages!!!!!!

I decided today not to proceed with trying to install shadow protect as i already have 2 other programs that will do disk imaging and also allow you to open the image files as virtual disks. To get shadow protect installed would mean having to reinstall acronis disk image and then follow the complicated instruction to uninstall it and then in the correct sequence edit the registry and do numerous reboots! To complex  unless you are an it expert and even then fraught with danger with boot problems or the  dreaded BSOD and then 3days to restore an image file to the HD from a DOS disk.
