QED coming soon!
Goldsearch Australia has been appointed the Australian Distributor for the QED.Check their website after  Wed 7th Dec 2016.
Global temperature goes from heat record to heat record, yet the sun is at its dimmest for half a century.
What is empirical  evidence?
Empirical evidence is information acquired by observation or experimentation. This data is recorded and analyzed by scientists and is a central process as part of the scientific method. Why is everything posted on climate by Inhere always horseshit?
Poor old  Inhere on finders still does not know the difference between weather and climate! The silly old goat seems to think because some places have recently had very cold weather that this brings into question  AGW!  Only right wing rabble rubbish climate deniers like horseshit Inhere don't  seem to understand  that AGW will mean that some regions of the earth will become colder!
Why is  onehalfgram :1/2 wit always wrong  on the QED?

I have been following a thread on another forum in regards to the DOD type coil.
There is a difference of opinion as to what determines the depth potential of that coil.

Therefore I am seeking input from those here in regards to a coil's Tx (transmit) and Rx (receive) windings.

Is it the size(dimension or diameter etc) of the Tx windings or the Rx windings that determines the depth potential of a coil?

Or is there to many variables to give a definite answer comparing a Mono to a DOD?

The Tx field in my opinion is the most important. To detect large deep objects you need a "big" Tx field. The bigger the diameter of the coil (other factors being equal) the bigger the field. On the RX side  S/N is also important. A good example of the importance of the TX coil diam is to look at those used for Geophysical prospecting for ore bodies. You will see very large diam Tx coils but the Rx coils nearly always have a much smaller diameter.

Would those geophysical type coils be a concentric design?

I wonder if the same applies to the DOD design in regards to the Tx coil still having to be larger, since the area covered by both DD type coils used to receive in the DOD design could have more influence on the depth potential than its Tx coil size?

Yes many are but some also have  bucking coils and Rx coils to receive orthagonal signal components.
here is the link to a picture of the skytem TX and 2 RX coils
