News: Robby_H :Why can't you provide any evidence for your assertions? Why was the whole "Dr Candy's GB method" thread deleted from finders forum after this post was cross posted there? Who is running scared? Who really controls finders?

Lets hope the 2012 is the year where ML gets some additional competition and the consumer gets some more choice in metal detectors!I wonder how long it will be before we see a new Whites detector based on the above patent?

 Gee Huego

You may be right ,a Whites/TDI is all I deserve!!!!!!!
Now you can see why I was trying to build a fire under
the back yard inventors,to get their ducks in a row.

Now someone ,that doesn't worry about patents,or
future sales, and a host of other excuses ,has the ball
in their court. excited excited excited excited

Now you can see why I wasn't too impressed with the
latest ML rumor ,and $10,000.00 price. rolleye 1

Competition from any quarter is fine by me as long at it results in better products, more choice,  better pricing & more ethical behaviour!  respect

I have nothing whatsoever against White's, or their patent, and wish them well IF or WHEN they create a product prospectors can select.
Seems like it will be for the hobby detectorists though.

White's are a business and doing it to make money their way! Back-yard inventors may do it for other reasons.  Clown

Cheers sawmill,

 happy face

Is it possible that Dave Emory due to his health has decided to hook up with Whites so he can finally
get his Pulse Devil to market?

All is possible, but as you can see, inventor is not Dave Emery and his patent is not even mentioned as prior art.

Probably true. I don't know if they showed Eric Foster as the inventor of the TDI?
I'm just hoping to see a truly discriminating P.I detector this year.

Haven't heard much from prospector Al recently!!!

Hi Turtleman,

I took some time off over the holidays but now I'm back on the job.

Earle's patent application is actually very similar to my patent with the title : "Hybrid Technology Metal
Detector"  I don't think Dave Emery is involved at all.

It's going to be interesting to see what the Examiner thinks of the similarities.

Patent No.: 7,701,337

Without being precise, I can promise that this is the year I'll be finished with the GoldSweeper.

Keep the Faith,

Allan

Good to hear from you Allen. Now you have me excited excited

Re Dave Emory. There was a comment a couple of weeks back on think on the Geotech forum about Dave, but not by him in regards to commercial interests.
More than anything I was hoping to here from Dave and how close we are to seeing the Devil.Hope your health has improved.
