$3000 less than the 5000! Maybe XS stock that he could not sell to Sudan? I wonder if the warranty still applies?

Well i recived my new GPX 4500 today after missing the delivery on Friday which was very fast delivery.
I was very conserned that it would be a counterfit.Checking photos and forums for information on the counterfits.
I put it together and started it up and it had that old minelab start up that carnt be mistaken.
So i am very happy ith my purchase thanks for you help.

Good to hear! Did you have any problems with customs? If you don't mind me asking (i will understand if you don't!)  what was the all up cost?

the total price was AU $3835-"i think is this is a great price.." do you think it is ??
no problems with customs my receipt is for $350- i dont know if he meant to do this or not.
It was also marked as a spare part free sample.
I dint know why it was just how it came.

I Carn't wait to use it i guess they take a while to work out how to run them.

Good to hear that it arrived safe and sound.
He would have put that price on the slip so it did not cost you to bring it in, also why it was marked as a part sample.

sorry for not replying i didn't notice your post
It is Genuine !00% Dinky Die Australian Made Minelab.
I have only used it for 24 hours i have gone over some places were i have found previously and i have found nothing so far.Plenty of targets just no gold.
the first 2 days that i have used it i found it very noisy the last day and a half i run the audio in quiet as it seemed to stabilize the detector to an acceptable level.
In no way am i suggesting to run a 4500 like this as i am inexperienced in doing so just posting what i did.
p.s i don't know if the warranty is applicable as i haven't sent it away yet
