Stay away from:onehalfgram.freeforums.net  which consistently contains offensive and gutter standard content and  has no standards of decency! What would younger children make of some of the offensive and pornographic cartoons posted by "UrbanFox!"Thanks heavens he can't post his  offensive filth  on this forum! What sort of a  public company is apparently comfortable with having their logo associated with obscene  cartoons?
The admin and moderator there in my opinion cannot be trusted and are clearly incompetent!  Would you trust an admin who sees no problems with posting  some lies and hence defamatory content and sees no problem with a moderator who also posts some lies? Would you trust an admin who allows content in possible breach of pro boards TOS and prohibited  purposes to be published on his forum ?Would you trust a moderator (and who tells some lies) there who says he can teach his detector to find more gold and an admin who is naive and gullible enough to believe him? 1Halfgram4three the admin still has FULL membership privileges here unlike my status on his forum!

The result here on a 7 gram nugget shows that the 3-oz air test depth spoken about on the ATX forum is not an accurate indicator of the depth potential of this detector.

G'day Mylab,

You would be surprised to find that some larger nuggets don't give the depth response you would expect. If the nugget has a similar decay to the ground the detection depth can be greatly reduced. Smaller nuggets (depending on how the GB is done) are less likely to have any of their signal subtracted out therefore they will show quite good depth results. This is commonly known as the "electronic hole". ML get around this hole by having 2 channels, one main channel and the other to cover the hole in the main channel, thus giving good results on a broad range of targets.

Cheers Mick
