We know the QED  won't run DD coils but will it run A1 coils?
BW hopes in the next week or so to  answer this question so stay tuned. Today  the QED(14"mono)  with the  expanded mode was  compared with a  7000 and a 1gram nugget over  BW's test patch of very nasty mineralized ground. I won't disclose the results at this at this stage because the test needs to be repeated. If the results are  repeatable then many people are going to shocked  at just how well the QED performed compared to the 7000!

Reads as though the QED in a higher undated mode using a 14" coil of similar size to the 14" coil on the 7000 has either matched or produced a better result than the 7000 over BW's highly mineralised test patch.

Therefore I wonder where the repeatable tests will take place.

Would be good at a mineralised in the ground test site.

The 7000 could only be ground balanced over BW test patch in severe! No gpx with a mono coil can be GB'd over this test patch with the coil taken all the way to the ground. The QED can GB all the way to the ground.

Having to use the SEVERE setting on the GPZ and a no hope with a GPX then BW's test patch surely displays the QED's GB superiority.

Do you know if the 1 gram test nugget was buried or an air test at BW's test patch?

Stinky Pete's YouTube video test between the GPZ and QED over a 60 gram nugget at that in the ground test site was interesting however he did use a larger 18" coil on the QED instead of a 14" coil as BW used at his test patch.

I think the nugget was laid on the surface.

The reason the test has to be repeated is that the  7000 GB procedure did not use the ferrite and i don't know what other settings were used.

I do wonder if any detector and a coil for that matter could shut up an electric fence pulse?

No not completely  but an A1 coil will reduce the effect significantly and enable one to detect closer to the electric fence.
