I would like to thank all of you for the kind words.  Now, I would like to pay a little tribute to Jeanne, my significant other, which is what we called each other.

Jeanne was an extremely intelligent person.  She was the only person I have ever met who could go to a blackboard and write with either hand while she talked about something else.  At age about 55 she wasn't satisfied with the fact she had 3 four college degrees so she went back and got her MBA while working full time.

Always yearning for knowledge she would pester me about any project I was working on so she could know a little more about it.

Jeanne was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer on Christmas day and told she only had a few months to live.  It turned out she had a different type of cancer than she was initially told so her potential life expectancy was  extended considerably.  Of course that made us very happy.

She struggled through three bouts of chemotherapy and seemed to be doing quite well the day before she died.  She was sharp and alert and ready to take on the world the last time I saw her alive.  So, when she passed away that night, I was shocked.

Jeanne was one of two women in my life I felt was both super intelligent and making a difference in the world.  Both died at the age of 61.  The other woman I knew who was super smart was my mother.   Neither will be forgotten and both are greatly missed and will be until I die.

Hi Reg,

did She try, or even accept, some sort of alternative way against cancer before taken all procedure of regular medicine? There are so many words but so little evidence about alternative way efficiency.
