When is 1halfgram4three (a proven hacker and  village idiot!) going to stop telling lies on his “forum”?
Why is "the rat" too spineless and frightened to join this forum?

Some people like speakers. Not me. Not only do I like headphones, but noise cancelling headphones. The author of that article makes the point that headphones keep out unwanted background noise. N/C phones neutralize and silence more background noise, even 'white'  noise that you will be totally unaware of until you put on N/C phones and turn them on.
N/C phones come in many pricings from the Bauhm (Aldi) for forty bucks, up to Bose, which are hundreds of dollars. Some work better with detectors than others, but my favorite would have to be the Bose earbuds (over 300 bucks). Not only do they shut out unwanted noise better than anything else, but can be worn with a wide brimmed hat. Great for summer.

Yes Doug, they are the ones. Jonathan Porter also likes them.
