Progress in MD Performance

As much as I hate to say it, since the days of the earlier SD's, not much has changed in way of depth, on the multi ounce slugs of gold. (Kon)

The main reason there has been relatively small advances in performance is because he ticked most of the boxes in his first effort. (Robby-H)

(quotes from 4Umer   )

Production products it seems, from historic records & users, have fallen well short of prorotypes & promises it seems.

Advances are not only measured in sensitivity, reduced noise/interference, easier / better ground balance etc is more than just technical performance.

What about good clean design, refinements to ease-of-use, low weight, good ergonomics, match to afetrmarket coils (ie a choice), reliability & QC in manufacture etc  should also be "boxes to tick".

Finally how about affordability without a "gold tax" at the front end?

Are the advances measured by results …. or by the promises of marketing hype?? Add up the % +% +%  increases over the yearsand what do you get?

the need for a FRONT END LOADER!

 happy face
