The forum is finishing 2017 on a high note!It already has the most posts this month for more than 6 months and page views are also well up on last month. The web host has got back to me on how to solve one of the forum issues which I have now done. Hopefully the smileys and BCC code issue may be solvable as well, if not i may have to consider other options as mentioned in an earlier post.

When is 1halfgram4three (a proven hacker and  village idiot!) going to stop telling lies on his “forum”?
Why is "the rat" too spineless and frightened to join this forum?

Hi Doug,

Thanks for all your work on the forum.

Thanks! I am still working with the web host to solve some  forum cpanel problems eg auto SSL domain validation and some other issues which are driving me mad especially as they are not of my making!!!

Thanks for your Xmas wishes. happy face I just wish that the  forum problems  had not come at this time! very angry
Having a bad run at the moment! Have lost 2 of our dogs to cancer this year and a few weeks ago our old oven caught fire due to the fan overheating! Luckily i had an extinguisher handy and was able to put the fire out before the brigade arrived or any damage was done.  The arrival of 2 fire units certainly aroused interest in street! On top of this my last few fly fishing trips to lake wendoree have only yielded 1 small fish despite fishing  until  very late into the night!

Yes i had to buy a  new oven and clean out the  wall cavity. I do occasionally use soft plastics rather than the fly rod but have only been moderately  successful with them.
