It would be interesting if another video was recorded with the SDC in the video then fitted with one of the new 11" round mono coils and the QED with an 11" round mono and compare them over the targets buried at this test site, even over those tiny nuggets to display the QED's versatility & stability.

Gary.

Having now watched a video of an SDC with the CT 11" coil attached the SDC's threshold is still unstable, and NOT to my liking compared to the QED's threshold which is super smooth.

Also from what I am reading on other forums the 14"x 9" coil may be the preferred coil due to more ground coverage.

How much extra depth from either the 11" or 14"x 9" coils is yet to be determined although in the videos the operator is praising it up.

Gary.

We could not get any of the buried targets at the test patch with the SDC with the standard coil, so you are quite correct in wanting a comparison at the test patch.
Would then be good to compare against the small pieces placed on the ground. Maybe this can happen soon.

I am looking forward to seeing videos of Coiltek testing the new SDC coils at their test patch north of Maryborough.
