News: Robby_H :Why can't you provide any evidence for your assertions? Why was the whole "Dr Candy's GB method" thread deleted from finders forum after this post was cross posted there? Who is running scared? Who really controls finders?

Hi Moodz,

No, the only restriction is coil size, 11" or smaller.

Its so close too! I was hoping to have built a new toy by then, but some how I don't think it will be out of my computer by then!

Back to it....

It's interesting, that it's called "Minelab Wedderburn Dectector Jamboree" but it doesn't seem to be sponsored by Minelab at all.

"MAYOR SPONSORS: Coiltex Gold Centre, Loddon Shire, Wedderburn Tourism Inc, Prospector' & Miners' Association Victoria, Gold Prospecting Australia, Easymix Radio Ten-71, Inglewood & Districts Community Bank Branch Bendigo Bank

MINOR SPONSORS - Local Business"

Hi Aziz,

Normally the major prize is the latest and greatest ML product.... They might have overlooked them as a major sponsor?

I think that everybody who enters is in the running for the major prize even if they don't find any tokens, but I could be wrong. In years gone by you had to find a token to be in the draw(for the major prize), but something must have changed in the Victorian competition laws in recent times as the last event I went to they mentioned something about it.
