News: Robby_H :Why can't you provide any evidence for your assertions? Why was the whole "Dr Candy's GB method" thread deleted from finders forum after this post was cross posted there? Who is running scared? Who really controls finders?

PS: I see you are also worried about the QED, it is progressing very nicely thank you.

Nice to read this. Thanks Alluvium.

It was not my worries behind, only intentional challenge to get some response from very silent QED team.

 Alluvium and All

I have spent most of my life camping and working in remote
areas, but will keep this to general prospecting.

This is some of what I carry . I stay out for weeks at a time.
It is a good idea to take a couple plastic tarps, several large
plastic trash bags, and a few 2 or three gallon plastic buckets.

A plastic bucket is a prospectors best friend. I use a 3 gallon
bucket for packing all the small stuff while prospecting. You can
pack a lot of stuff in one, like lunch, camera, extra cell phone, loupe,
GPS, water bottles, and a couple trash bags. Also you can throw
your rock samples in there too. You can set the bucket in the
shade while you go about your business, and you are not packing
the extra weight . I even throw my 9mm in the bucket, along with
a multi tool ,and any other stuff I need. I can hold a snake at gun
point, while I pull his teeth with the multi tool. Clown

The plastic trash bags, can be used to cover your detector, valuables,
and yourself ,if caught out in a surprise rain storm. They make a fair
rain poncho in a pinch. The tarps have a million uses, and are light
and easy to pack. Don't forget some Duct tape, and black tape either.
Some baling wire is not a bad idea either.

I never  go prospecting without my gold pans, and drywasher.
My camp trailers are well stocked with all the stuff I need, also
my truck is stocked with extra fuel, water, parts, tires, oil and enough
tools to rebuild it. My 4 wheeler is also kept stocked with all the
emergency stuff too. My prospecting trailer also contains a small
recirculating sluice, and a small test lab, plus enough solar power to
do anything I need. I also pack a 5000 KW genset,and up to 200
gallons of water.
