What is empirical  evidence?
Empirical evidence is information acquired by observation or experimentation. This data is recorded and analyzed by scientists and is a central process as part of the scientific method. Why is everything posted on climate by Inhere always horseshit?
Poor old  Inhere on finders still does not know the difference between weather and climate! The silly old goat seems to think because some places have recently had very cold weather that this brings into question  AGW!  Only right wing rabble rubbish climate deniers like horseshit Inhere don't  seem to understand  that AGW will mean that some regions of the earth will become colder!

Can you get 1:25K Topo maps to upload to OziExplorer? I have 1:25k Oztopo for my garmin but would like 1:25k maps on one of the 7" GPS units.

Hi Doug,

I have not tried I have 1:250K and 1:100K on mine and have had 1:50K on the laptop but have not tried putting them on the Netbook/Tablet yet that is my next task along with my Fire-maps but my Netbook/Tablet runs full Windows 7 not android so it runs the full OziExplorer I went that way as I needed the full version for my usage 1:25K would be very useful but some of the areas I prospect are not even available in 1:50K and I have not even seen any1:25K of S.Aust.

Hi Doug

You can't get the Garmin maps to work on Oziexplorer but there is available a set of 25k maps covering all of Vic.  What you need is the .PNG 25k maps as they can be bought already calibrated for Ozi

To use these maps in a 7in gps you will have to download and install ozi-ce and then you must convert these maps to the ozi-ce map format .ozfx3 using the program from the oziexplorer web site.

the 25k maps are old but are accurate enough for most projects.

cheers

Thanks Steve! happy face Why can't  people like Garmin come out with a big  screen gps? Oztopo is good but it needs to be viewed on a bigger screen!
