What a beauty!
This guy is doing well. He is scraping the ground to get access to the lower ground layer. He definitely needs one of my detectors.
Oh damn!, my detector won't be available as a commercial detector.

No, I meant the other nuggets. There are some vids of his gold mining activity on youtube. Check this out.

He mentions, that the big nugget was found at 6 inch only. The ground there must be hard and dry to avoid the sinking of such big nugget. Or is this due to erosion of the surface, which led to concentrating the nuggets above the hard ground.

Hi Aziz,
He said on the video it was years ago , that area is not his normal hunting ground , its in the NT , that's where all the outher Utube videos are taken, its different ground .
I know where the big one came from  happy face

Cheers Bobby.

I don't want to bore anyone about this vertualy unknown NSW gold field '

Yep it was only scratched by the old timers , reason -- its a big nugget spread , not enough small nuggets close together to make it worth the old timers   methods.

Crikey mate, that's pretty remote country NW of White Cliffs!
There are now a thousand detectorists packing their swags right now to head off! I hope they are prepared!  rolleye 1

Bobby.

The whole area is covered by El's and mining leases and the  written permission of both the station owners and the lease/EL holders is required to prospect!
