News: Robby_H :Why can't you provide any evidence for your assertions? Why was the whole "Dr Candy's GB method" thread deleted from finders forum after this post was cross posted there? Who is running scared? Who really controls finders?

Hi All,

Just downloaded our pictures into new comp. and came up with these which are my finds for last season...2.5 ounces.

Each pile has ten nuggy's in it, allbeit so tiny but fun to get, my largest was 2.5gr and the smallest was 0.05gr

On the salt lake we used a 11"DD in Cancel and elsewhere we use the 14"x9" N/F, so small coils=smal nugg's

Well done Ron, nice and shiny too! ::38:: Did you clean them with acid, or just water and soap?

Cheers Mick

Hi Mick,

All our nuggs go into cloudy ammonia but salt lake ones could be washed in water, i forgot to mention that the missus outdid me in quantity and size but this year could be different.
Ron

PS: Thanks Doug

Looks like a lot of hard work but what a pleasing result, well worth the effort.

Hi Bobby,

As these were only shallow in a salt lake, like two scrapes and there they were bright and shiny you couldn't miss them, although the detectors did as we could keep on finding them by going over the same patches by either a different direction or different settings or a different day.

We were using a GP3500M and a GPX4000M both were in cancel and using the 11"DD coils

Some nuggs were found elsewhere with the 4000 using the 14x9N/F depths to 100mm most would have inclusions of a black rock that came out red in the photos

Regards Ron
