Hi bugwhiskers.
Is this digital filtering something to be possibly used with pl3's?
Sounds super awesome if so. I remember from my xp deus days how using 5 tones you could discern between hotrocks, gold, and iron by a distinct tone with great confidence, as far i could see. (I didnt experience detecting larger nuggets with that system unfortunately). Not saying it is similar technology, but having some sort of function with those type of abilities (not necessarily with different tones) on the qed would be pretty cool and very handy.

This technology takes far less componentry because most of the "work" is performed by the micro. It would need it's own circuit board.

It sounds very interesting. Hopefully you can nut it out and bring it to the qed or a plug in unit  thumbs up!

It is light weight and works very well. The best part is the coverage, about 8" per swing.
