I recognise the lovely and hard working PMAV President (Rita Bently) but not the other two.

I assume this was a cast of the original 850 oz nugget?
What happened to it?

Hello Doug,

In the above photos, you have Rita Bentley, PMAV President, Kevin Hillier, HOF Nugget finder, and Don Brereton from the PMAV committee, who arranged the erection of this monument at the actual site of the Nugget.


Below you will see a replica of the nugget and the Garrett Deep Seeker detector that found this
 million dollar nugget. It was sold to the Gold Nugget Casino in Las Vegas.
