Hi All,

Is Aqua still around as he isn't answering his messages....While i'm here i was wondering how waterproof his setup is, i was hoping that if it was raining if you could still wander around as it gets boring waiting it out in the van sometimes

With the QED i have found that i can work in a lot closer to the missus's GPX5000 when she is on a patch, i do under the trees/shrubs and she goes round and round(I do rectangles she does circles), the GPX4000M won't get anywhere near her so the QED works in very well

Anyways if anyone comes across AQUA please let him know

Cheers,Ron

Ron I have found the same when detecting with the QED and able to detect way closer to my mate detecting with his 5000 than when we are both using the 5000.

The way the QED negates interference is amazing.

Gary.

In relation to the mods, interfacion (Howard) is the only place to get any official QED mods incorporated. This includes software/firmware upgrades, all warranty work, or costed repairs.

Aqua hasn't done the faceplates for over a year. The faceplates are now firbreglass and much more resilient. The QED is wholly made by me.
