Contribution to global warming by Australia. Australia has one of the highest per capita emissions of carbon dioxide in the world, with 0.3% of the world's population it produces 1.4% and rising(not the .08% the  finders forum dope "Inhere" claims!) of the world's greenhouse gases. Australia also has the highest per capita emissions in the OECD, with 26 tonnes of greenhouse gasses being emitted per person every year.

I’m running the 11” elite, using
* B: less than null, Mode 3 around the GT, low (around 30) THS-A, gain 4ish, or
* B: null, mode 3, very high THS-A, gain as high as possible.

They both one the smaller end of medium coils or high end of small coils. Best medium spiral wound coil on qed Elite 14". Best older type nugget finder advantage 14" if ground noisy with spiral.   excited

I suppose do we call a 12" Evo a small or a medium coil.

Anyway I am interested as to how many QED users are detecting with the 12" Evo FW mono as I have been using the 8" Commander on the QED while leaving the 12" Evo on the GPX.

Therefore any advice on what QED settings have worked best for you with the 12" Evo?

Gary.

Going by the number Read Times so far since I posted I would say the 12" Evo is not a popular coil for the QED.

I think a 14" coil would be mid range Gary.

Yes I would agree sd220d Digger.

Also the FW or Spiral monos are hard to pinpoint small targets with but do have the edge on sensitivity to small targets compared to the standard bundle wound of similar size.

Sd220d Digger do you have a QED for yourself and if so have you a preferred coil for it?

I have a 17 x13 Evo, and don't like it on my QED at all
My go to mid sized coil is the 14" Elite, it's very good.

Thanks Mal.

The CT Elite appears to be a more popular coil for the QED than the NF Evo.

I'm still using a 5000 Gary. My next detector will be the Qed.
The Qed has come a long way and we can thank Howard for the hard work he has put into his baby,  the Qed.

Hi Gary,
I have a 12"Evo but I prefer my own coils on the QED if I have a favorite commercial coil with the QED it would be the 14 x 9 Evo or the 18" Elite.
