Which coil(s) are you going to use as I am sure you are aware all the gold there is reasonably shallow and very small

have the 8 inch commander, and the 12 inch nugget finder advantage, was gonna try pick up one of the 11 inch detech coils every body raves on about, but dont think there would be much difference between the 12 and 11 inch, were doing a couple weeks at tibbo, then onto tennent for few weeks, then hoefuly a month up at margaret in the nt, will be a monument trip, around 30 of us going, but only about a third detecting so plenty of coils on the ground. have another qed coming at moment, so will have 2 out to do some good comparisons, his is the new detech set up mines the 1st generation, but has all been updated to current specs, have bought new handycam for trip hopefuly will rock up this week. anyone wanting to tag along or catch up on certain parts is most welcome, also if your not into having a good time then probly not for you. hopefuly can meet some members to put faces to names. pm me if interested for dates. cheers big ears.  excited excited excited

it will be great to hear how you guys go (with the QED) as any reports will add to the ‘body of knowledge’ which will benefit all of us keen to use the QED

Sounds like an epic trip

Yes and the more opportunities I get to operate my QED the more my confidence grows in its abilities compared to my GPX.
