can definately confirm that gaz my first bit was a rough 1 grammer , still have it, got it made into a pendant. once i found that with the modded sd 2000, i was hooked even more.

I too still have that 1st piece.

Also have pendant with the 6 gram nugget that I dug up after located it still lying in its original in-situ position at the bottom of its hole. It was something that I had always wanted to find was a nugget still resting in its original position when it was laid down.

Interesting to read that you found your first bit with a modified SD2000 as my next detector after the GT16000 was an SD2000 that I ended up getting modified a few times by Ismael Jones in WA.

Actually still using one of IJ's one piece extra long Fibre Glass shaft for my GPX5000.

Now using a QED PL2 as well.

Gary.
mine was one of the barry johnson modded 2000, i realy wish i kept it was unreal on deep stuff, i see them come up for sale now and then. anyway gazz plenty to do next couple days, heading off on coming wednesday, will be sending back plenty of vids and info regulary, cheers buddy.  excited excited excited excited
