**** QED EXPO ****
The QED Expo will be held 11 and 12 December 2021, starting at 9:00AM both days. Full details are below:
VENUE:
The Llanelly Public Hall & Reserve
Llanelly-Newbridge Road
Llanelly 3551, which is near Tarnagulla, VIC.

Map is here:

Dates: 11/12 Dec 21
Start time: 9:00am both days
End: Sunday, 12 Dec at 3:00pm

I will have a few stall holders, apart from my own. Currently, the stalls are:
* Goldman Detecting Services (my Stall)
* Howard's Stall
* Detech Australia
* John Kakoschke, his art stall and prospecting stories
* Potentially one other detecting related stall.

Note:
The stalls will only be operating on Saturday, 11 Dec 21.
Sunday will be reserved for QED Demos, training and general detecting in the bush across the road.

This event is doubling up as the QED XMAS Party to be held on the Saturday evening/night in the hall, so I do encourage you to stay overnight to avoid the drink/drive issue.

COVID:
* All Victorian mandated COVID rules apply
* All overnighters will need to be vaccinated.
* All visitors will need to sign in via the provided QR Code or the manual sign in page.

DAY VISITORS
Day visitors are most welcome either day, but the stalls are only open on Saturday.

CAMPING
There is plenty of space for people to bring their caravans, camper trailers, tents, etc. Generally no power or connected water is available, however water is available at the hall. See photo below for the camping site.
The cost of the overnight stay is $25.00 / person. This includes free use of the extensive facilities, e.g. kitchen, BBQ facilities, the hall, toilets, shower, etc.

If you wanted to come Friday night as well, then that's OK and is included in the $25/person(i.e. no extra cost).

FOOD
Food and drinks are NOT provided, so please bring everything you need. As above, the extensive kitchen or BBQs are available for use. This includes fridges, stoves, utensils, sinks, plates, etc.
There are towns nearby where you can get 'pub meals' or the like at a reasonable price.
So if you are staying for the XMAS Party, then bring along all of your party needs as well.
Hot water, coffee/tea, sugar will be available both days and Saturday night.

QEDS
I will have 4 QEDs available for hire at $30 / day each.

CONTACT
If you are coming for a day or are wishing to stay overnight, then please advise me in the first instance as soon as you can.

Please contact me via Messenger or my mobile if you have any questions.
I'll let you all know as and when more information becomes available.

Cheers,
Goldman (Brian Skinn)

A QED owner informed me that the ground tracking modification has been perfected and will be announced and demonstrated at the Expo. Is this so, how soon will it be available, and will there be a cost involved?

Hi Everyone,
Just a reminder that the QED EXPO is on the 11/12 Dec at Llanelly, VIC. Llanelly is very close to Tarnagulla.
Myself (goldman), Howard, John Kakoschke, Detech and Golden Triangle Tours will have stalls inside the hall on Saturday 11 Dec.
There will be QED Demos throughout the day, and you are free to take the opportunity to go detecting in any of the very close by goldfields on either or both days.
I will have 4 QEDs for hire at very reasonable rates.
You can also stay overnight for $25 per adult, just bring along your caravan, camper, tent, etc and BYO food/drink.
There are toilets and a shower for use as needed.
For those staying overnight, you must have a vaccination certificate.
Hope to see as many of you as possible there over the weekend.
Cheers,
Brian Skinn

The next substantial QED update, which includes tracking,  revised AGB functionality and a revise GB method is not yet finalised but is close. Once it has been completed and testing is completed, then it will be released.

This is not expected to be in time for the EXPO, but I may be able to demo some of these changes (in BETA mode) at the EXPO.

Cheers,
Goldman
