Interfacion Pty Ltd is proud to announce that a new dealer has joined the QED team. The new dealer is Wiltronics Research 5-7 Ring Road Ballarat VIC 03 5334 2513. Eventually Wiltronics will be the manufacturer thereby keeping the QED Australian made.

Hi Howard,

Will that be the end of an era or will you be still involved when you eventually sell up, it's been a long hard ride but you certainly have achieved what nobody else has and produced a detector for us...gotta  be proud of that

I remember a lot of the shitefights you had  and the way people take sides and voice  their opinions in a public forum, i don't know how much help you had along the way but i understand why we don't hear a lot about them..silent partners lots of surprises along the way..but hey it's done

What's next for Bugwhiskers........and Thank you

It's not changing hands. Wiltronics will be doing the manufacturing as Howard cannot continue to hand make every board due to the long term effects of exposure to acidic solder fumes.

The 5 year transferrable warranty won't change and his extra spare time will be used to make enhancements/improvements.

So the QED is still Howard’s, with the only change being that it will eventually be manufactured locally in Ballarat by Wiltronics, instead of being manufactured by Howard.

The current dealers remain as is with Wiltronics now being the 4th.

So it’s business as usual.

Cheers Goldman

Right move.

Has Wiltronic their own production line or module was ordered from China and then finalized in AU?

Nice to read about this next step in QED production.

After market consolidation, you deserve some relief from work, that can be done by others,
it no longer makes sense to waste your talent for populating and soldering boards.

I am sure this can only benefit to further QED development.
