Title: QED Price?
Post by: mylab on Wednesday July 10 2019 22:32:46 AEST PM
Tried searching for the price of the QED PL2 along with options available however could not find anything here or on the web? Also checked both dealers contact details, Reg has a website but no price details for the QED PL2. I would think it is important to display price along with options such as if one had no need to purchase a coil with the QED etc. and if someone was trying to compare the cost of the QED against other dealers and their brands of detectors and options while searching the web.

Noted, and a very good point. I will take this on board and discuss with the stakeholders tomorrow.

I see BW has now included the above prices on his QED website under products, including photos of each package.
http://www.qedmetaldetectors.com.au/products (qedmetaldetectors.com.au/products)
Being able to purchase such a PI package for under 2K that is capable of handing Australia's mineralised ground conditions is a credit to the man behind this particular detector.

The design is pretty much set in concrete now with just improvements in the firmware as they are found and proven.
I am hoping to have the latest version of the firmware available in time for the Laanecoorie Bash in early October.
There are testers out in the field now when weather permits.
