Maybe your forum header where you say   "Anyone known to have any past or present association with Codan/ML will not have their registration approved."  scared them away Doug.  Why did you ever put that up there?  Along with the rest of it that leaves prospective new members wondering what goes on in your head.

That is like a forum about detecting for gold saying "If you have any association with White detectors you will not be able to join this forum".  Do you not see that Doug? ::702::

Wrong! My exclusions only apply to  any persons known to have any past or present association with Codan/ML.No problem with Whites or any other detector manufacturer.

But do you not think that excluding Minelab would have new members reading the header wondering what is the trouble with Minelab?  When most folks hunting for gold probably use a Minelab.  And your main interest is the QED which for how many years now never has been available to the prospectors.

People can make up their own minds! Their are plenty of other (most) pro ML forums for them to go to.

Let me ask you this Doug.

What is the best detector to hunt for gold world wide?

Yes, I see your point, I nearly didn't join, because I use only minelab detectors now, have used other brands in the past, but they are better suited for coin hunting, not for detecting gold here in Australia.
Doug has a real chip on his shoulder about that 1.5 guy, for about a year now, every day he's been posting undesirable subjects about him, yet the 1.5 guy never post here to try and defend himself, so is nothing but nice by not saying anything back?

I am banned on 1.5 guy's forum and he is banned here for  hacking a board on this forum and for telling and permitting blatant lies and defamatory comments to be posted on his "forum" and breaching his forums TOS .The Whites  TDI   is more than capable of  being used for finding gold in any Australian  goldfields. It is overpriced but is still a cheaper option than any new ML.
