I started detecting in 1980. the detectors I have used include the Whites 6db and 6000,Garret Groundhog and A2b and  Deepseeker , ML 15000 and 17000,Gardiner,Bounty  hunter  and  Pi detectors, ML 2100,2200,Gp 3000 and Gpx 4000, Foster GS5b and the  Rockly  QED. As well I have a tertiary qualification in science in Applied  chemistry and for the last 28 years before i retired I worked as a senior( not a lab technician as the prickly prospector baboon :stupid:  :85:  implies!)  research scientist grade 2 (as far as i could go without having a masters or  Phd)  in cancer research and i am co author of  a number of peer reviewed scientific papers  in radiation research. I also have a Bendigo Tafe qualification , Gold mining for the small scale operator. I have also been underground in Bendigo,  Sedwick, Tarnagulla and  Stawell and had a large alluvial exploration tenement on the  Avoca lead. I have also been a past president of the  Vics largest prospecting club in the late 1980's and Vice president of the PMAV.  My late wife and I also breed  Leonbergers including the youngest ever to become a grand champion. My passion now is  flyfishing.  Unlike the prickly prospector baboon :sign0103:  :85:  I own everything i have and i am not at the mercy of  landlords and have never depended on government welfare!

Here is what the Vic Seekers gave  myself as President and Jenny as secretary in appreciation for saving the club from possible extinction and why it still survives today!

Before i became vice president of the  PMAV I served on the committee under the late and great  Doug Kemsley  the late secretary John Winter and of course  the late  Rita  Bently frequently traveling to Maldon for meetings.I was also  was a field demonstrator  for a metal detecting/ prospecting course run by  RMIT and the late  Des  Stroud. Its  clear that I have done my  bit to assist  and help the prospecting and  detecting community.

Now what has the bozo  prickly prospector ever done for the prospecting  community other than running a  free and nasty 5th rate free forum because of his lack of money and his lack of IT skills to run a professionally hosted forum on independent server in Australia. He can't even afford to  put a secure roof over his  kids head - he is at the mercy of landlords!). Oh that lack of money!!! :85:  The bozo  prickly prospectors only claim to fame IMO seems to be  irresponsible breeding and installing a few crappy alarm systems and now being a welfare bludger!!! Go and get a job you lazy bludger and stop living off the taxes of  people who are working!!!!!
